Gisla is on the blocks

My two Gisla are finally blocking. The large scarf is Brooklyn Tweed Loft in Hayloft and the small scarf is Brooklyn Tweed Loft in Tent.

The pattern is already written and formatted awaiting photos. These I will hopefully be able to do either tomorrow or Friday.

This pattern has been a long time in the making. Usually I find that if I'm ignoring a design it is because there is an element I don't like. In the case of Gisla there were two - needle size and the selvedge edge. Once I found solutions, larger needles and an i-cord edge, I was able to love the design again.

This is the original Gisla, in Brooklyn Tweed Loft Faded Quilt, from April last year.

This version will get a revamp when I added an i-cord edge to the selvedge.

So hopefully this pattern will be released next Monday.

Keep smiling :-)
